I'm a big Fujimoto Tatsuki fan (Especially of Fire Punch). Awesome how you're sculpting his characters.

I absolutely love the way you sculpt! It's a shame that I'm just mere mortal witnessing such stunning pieces of art, and not a well-refined artist like thou art! Now, now, tell me... What is your secret recipe to this amazing paint job? What techniques, paints and colors do you apply to achieve this state?
Thanks, that's a very kind comment! As for secret recipes.. I don't really paint model planes or Warhammer figures and stuff like that myself, but I believe I apply many of the same techniques in my sculpts. Such as paint washing, where very diluted paint seeps into cracks and around details of the figures, really showing the depth and details. Using dark paint for this is really good for a gritty, realistic effect. Perfect for souls-series sculpts. Also I use this kind of shiny varnish for Metal parts like swords and armour.

Most importantly is to not rush such things. Learn to enjoy it. I believe a good paint job can even make a mediocre sculpture look impressive.
Thank you for your reply! I see, the painting is definitely something that requires patience. I felt extremely inspired by your art, and I did a sculpture of the Abyss Watchers myself! (it's on my page btw!)
I love it . So much details for such small sculptures ! What are you using to sculpt them?
fimo soft clay. thank you!
I LOVE ALL YOUR SCULPTURES!!! :happybounce:
